Architecture is affected by Innovation and technology, and a key component of their development inside and outside of the discipline. AIRs KA offers architecture and architects the opportunity to work on a series of topics: energy products, home growing, patents and plaigarism, AI vocabulary image and model bank, and uniform standards for professional education globally for licensure locally and nationwide laws for licensure, revocation and malpractice.

The Range is set into the grassy stone and sediment hillside with several peaks and plateaus. Some of these emerged naturally, others stark reminders that many mountains and entire ranges were carved out for minerals, fuels, metals and stones leaving almost no sign of the majestic landscapes that took millenia to create from those ancient resources. The design is a compromise between one of architectures great triumphal forms, the arch, faceted so the archway forms an iconic 3D Pennsylvania keystone.
Internally the typical floor to floor height is a generous 12' or ≈ 4m which gives the exhibition office and studio spaces better airflow through the double height lobbies that use natural ventilation The height also allows for a shift in scale: a bay of 2 typical floors becomes 3 8' ≈ 2.44m height floors that host office and guest spaces, and 2 of those bays become 3 16' ≈4.88m height floors to house fabrication facilities like the 'chunkmaker' and the robotic 'wally world'.
Home growing covers two categories: growing your home and growing in your home . The importance of getting architects to take over what has been dominated by contractors and developers in residential architecture especially in America; the patented model and drawing sets, like through Sears Roebuck catalog, to build new, extend, or renovate your home with preset catalog items. There has to be a more exciting and engaging way for architects and contractors to work together for those categories within the building codes to Mass produce simple collections that are code compliant and either partial or total DIY project kits available nationwide. Whatever answer the architects at AIR will provide will be tested in focus group and full scale case studies within the ARs fabrication facilities.
Renewable energy products have become affordable enough and appeal to a wide audience of consumers. Marketing, aesthetic appeal on the shelves of stores, brand identity and scalability are opportunities for architects to design a way to reach the people that want to do their part but don't want to go through contractors and utilities for the results. The PV Cells can now be roller blinds for your apartment, why's that not at CB2 or Ikea? Architects frequently are the go to on the team to translate and communicate with clients and communities because they spend years practicing how to communicate their thoughts and works in discussions, presentation and writing. The importance of presentation skills and preparatory methods through teaching and demonstration is oft underappreciated but a huge part of the experience and it is that stage to make the impression that a client would be able to trust you and be confident in the work you have yet to produce because conveyance and interpersonal communication skills provide assurance.
Growing in the home is nothing new, now with synthetic organics and bioengineered vegetables and fruits available, the question is how do we make it appealing for people living in a small apartment and in a large suburban home to integrate indoor growing in their own home. The answer is a combination of the maintenance requirements and the aesthetic of the equipment. Think of the birdcage throughout history and the range of functional and aesthetic qualities integrated over time.
Patents and plaigarism may seem to have escaped use in the world of architecture innovation and intellectual property rights because of the ambiguity and specificity required by each. We at AIR firmly believe that architects invent patentable design innovations, products and their methods, techniques and processes merit real consideration. The work of an architect spans from their company name, logo, document formatting, contract documents, writing, drawing, rendering, scripts, coding, details and construction assembly specifications potentially unique and particular to the author(s) creation. Patents and plaigarism ensure attribution and acknowledgment for work, it's contribution to the discipline of architecture and beyond. It's about truth, authenticity, standards and procedures that allow use or reference through appropriate citations, attributions, acknowledgment and disclosure of such uses. Through case studies and mock trials it can be brought to the federal level voluntarily without litigation. The precedents from music, literature, fine arts, stitching, logos and sports that came to resolution in the federal government and its courts. Architects author creative Innovations from invaluable techniques to intellectual property and inventions.
