Ventilated Vistas is a project exploring a viewing tower approximately 100' tall offering expansive views of the island and the developing arboretum as well as the glistening Caribbean Sea.
The towers central staircase takes you to a viewing level every 20' as you ascend to the open viewing platform at the top.
The rectangular panels are tilted vertically and horizontally to maximize shading, natural ventilation and views.
Illuminated from the interior by solar powered lighting giving the island a glowing grand monumental obelisk casting dramatic shadows across the island.
It would serve as a reference point for tourists on the trails, and a lighthouse for those enjoying the good vibes and smooth sailing of the Caribbean.
